Delete your Sports Team Organizer account

Sports Team Organizer accounts can be deleted by the person who holds them, from inside the app, at any time. No email or form is required.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in to Sports Team Organizer, in the app or at sportsteamorganizer.io
2. Open Settings
3. Scroll to Delete account
4. Confirm

The deletion happens immediately. It cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in, email support@sportsteamorganizer.io from the address on the account and we will complete the deletion for you.

One thing that will stop the deletion

If you are the only administrator of a club that still has a subscription due to renew, the deletion is refused and names the club. This is deliberate — it stops an account disappearing while the club it runs is still being billed.

Either cancel the subscription on the Plans page, or make another person a super admin of the club, and then delete the account. A subscription already set to end needs no action.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in and password
• Your name, email address, phone number and profile picture
• Your membership of every club and team

Where another record still refers to you — a note you wrote, an action recorded in a club's audit log — your name is replaced with "Deleted user" and your email, phone and picture are removed, so the club's own records stay coherent without keeping your details.

What happens to the clubs you belong to

A club with another super admin is not affected. It carries on, and only your own access ends.

A club where you are the only super admin is deleted with your account. It is hidden immediately and permanently erased within 24 hours, along with its teams and their records.

What is not deleted, and why

If you are a parent or guardian, deleting your login does not delete your child's player record from their club.

That record belongs to the club, not to us. Your club decides what it keeps about its players and for how long; Sports Team Organizer only stores it on the club's behalf. To have a player's record removed, ask the club directly. If the club does not respond, contact us at support@sportsteamorganizer.io and we will help you reach them.

Retention

Deleted accounts are removed at once and are not kept in a recoverable form.

Clubs and teams deleted with an account are permanently erased within 24 hours.

Ordinary backups may hold copies for a short period afterwards before they expire on their normal cycle.
